Joel has had a diverse legal and business career. He was a partner with one of North Dakota’s largest law firms for nearly 10 years. During that time he developed his practice to include employment law, business litigation, and collections. He left private practice to become General Counsel and Vice President of Human Resources for a privately held real estate and venture capital business with extensive real estate and other small business holdings. This broadened his knowledge and experience in starting and acquiring businesses and in the operating complexities of such businesses.

Honest, responsive, and trustworthy family law attorney who came through for me. She is honest and will tell you what to expect. She is very responsive in her replies. You will never feel like you are “just a number” with Lesley. She was very well prepared and came through for me on short notice with flying colors.

I hired JAMES TEIGLAND to assist me in a dispute over property taxes. It was a complicated issue but James explained the risks, costs, and benefits of various positions and helped me realize there are multiple dimensions to a legal dispute. He gave me good advice to resolve the dispute in a way I thought was favorable. I will recommend James to my family and friends for any of their legal needs.

Nick was very professional, knowledgeable of the law, prompt in handling every issue of my case and paid attention to detail. I was very happy with the outcome of my case and would be quick to use Fremstad Law Firm again if needed.

We have worked with Joel for more than a decade.  We feel like his is truly a part of our overall team and understands our business.  If we could hire him as our in-house counsel we would.  We don’t do anything remotely legal without running it by him.
