Experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal Needed
Fremstad Law is seeking a skilled, detail‑driven Civil Litigation Paralegal to join our team. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, takes ownership of their work, and brings strong judgment, initiative, and professionalism to every case.
What You’ll Do
- Support attorneys in all phases of civil litigation, from intake through trial and appeal
- Draft, proof, and prepare pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and court filings
- Manage case files, deadlines, and document organization with precision
- Coordinate discovery, including document production, subpoenas, and deposition preparation
- Assist with trial preparation: exhibits, witness lists, trial binders, and logistics
- Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel in a professional, timely manner
- Conduct factual research and compile case summaries
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold firm standards of quality and integrity
What Makes You a Good Match
- 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience (civil litigation preferred)
- Strong understanding of court rules, deadlines, and filing procedures
- Exceptional writing, proofreading, organizational skills and follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- A proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset and a commitment to high‑quality work
- Calm under pressure, confident in your work
- Professional communication skills and a client‑service focus
- Tech-savvy with Microsoft 365, document management systems, and e‑filing platforms
