Amber Cleveland
Amber graduated high school from Burnsville, Minnesota. She moved to Moorhead to attend Minnesota State University Moorhead, and graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Paralegal Studies with an emphasis in civil litigation, and minors in Communication Studies and Philosophy. Prior to law school, Amber worked for numerous years at a local law firm as a paralegal assisting in medical malpractice defense.
Amber later graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of North Dakota School of Law. While attending law school, she was a member of the North Dakota Law Review, Innocence Project, Moot Court, and numerous student organizations. Amber had a case comment published in the North Dakota Law Review (92 N.D. L. Rev. 1 (2017)) and earned the highest grade in civil procedure. Amber also assisted first-year law students in legal research and writing as a teaching assistant and was a law clerk in East Grand Forks, Minnesota assisting in numerous family law matters.
Prior to joining Fremstad Law, Amber worked at a local law firm for 5 years where she gained experience in creditor’s rights, commercial litigation, and collections.
Amber concentrates her practice primarily in Family Law.
Amber is licensed to practice in North Dakota, Minnesota, Wyoming, and the U.S. District Court District of Minnesota. She is a member of the North Dakota State Bar Association and the Cass County Bar Association.
In her spare time, Amber enjoys spending time with her daughter, family, and friends; traveling; and attending concerts.
